14.1 Scope
These statements apply to the Dawah Tours mobile app(s) you install from Google Play or the App Store, together with the general practices described elsewhere in this policy.
14.2 Documents and files you upload
We only collect and store documents and images that you choose to upload in the app when they are needed for the services you request (for example visa, travel, booking, or identity-related paperwork). We do not browse or harvest unrelated files from your device.
14.3 Email and phone number (authentication)
We collect and retain your email address and phone number to create and secure your account, sign you in, send verification messages (including one-time codes where used), recover access, and communicate about your bookings and support requests.
14.4 Location data (Hajj locating & SOS / Find Hajj)
We do not collect your precise location unless you start location sharing in the app. When you enable sharing, we may access, process, and store location data to operate safety and coordination features for pilgrims—including helping locate Hajj participants and supporting SOS and “Find Hajj” style features so that our team or other authorized contacts described in the app can respond in an emergency or when you need assistance.
You can stop sharing location through your device settings or in-app controls where available. Turning off location may limit features that require live location.
14.5 Use, sharing, and retention
- We use this information to provide and improve the app, deliver our travel and pilgrimage services, comply with law, protect safety, and send service-related notices.
- We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with processors who help us run the app and our business under strict contracts, or when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
- We keep data only as long as needed for these purposes or as legally required, then delete or anonymize it where feasible.
14.6 Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures for mobile services—such as encryption in transit where applicable, access controls, and secure infrastructure—to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
